A documentary that inspired Make Lunch

After the recent Channel 4 documentary 'Growing Up Poor', Rachel Warwick reflects on how a similar documentary inspired her to set up Make Lunch, before handing over the reins to TLG last year.

Rachel Warwick founded MakeLunch back in 2011 and is grateful for her friends who were open to trying out her crazy ideas! These days she spends most of her time at Scripture Union where she’s the Director of Mobilisation. She is married to Dan and they live in Luton with far too many musical instruments.

TLG Education Centre Opens in Hull

TLG's newest Education Centre opened in Hull on December 13. Tim Morfin, TLG's Founder and Chief Executive, reflects on why this Centre in particular is of personal significance to him.

Tim Morfin is the founder and Chief Executive of TLG. Tim, together with a group of other volunteers from a local church, began TLG by helping young people struggling in school in Bradford. He now leads the organisation nationally, still committed to bringing hope and a future to children and their families. He is married to Rachel and has three teenage sons.

Mim Taylor is the children’s worker at St Mary Bredin Church, Canterbury, and has been the TLG Make Lunch Coordinator there for two and a half years. She has loved seeing families grow in confidence and build a strong community together. Mim is currently on a mission to explore the county more and aims to walk the length of the Kent coastline.
